Sanchez offers Hope!

Sanchez offers Hope!

After slipping to a 1-0 defeat at Reading, newly recruited manager Lawrie Sanchez had some words of hop for those who fear the worst.

Speaking to the media after a solitary goal from Stephen Hunt secured the three points for Fulham and left us looking over our shoulders at the closing pack, this is what he had to say,

"What can I do to make a difference in a couple of days? Well, I was able to do the half time team talk for a start."

"In the first half, the players were getting out of their system all the things I didn`t want them to do and after that they began doing some of the things we had worked at on the training field."

"I have told them that if we play like we did in the second half, we will get the five points we need to survive."

"There were a lot of nerves - it has been a difficult week for everybody involved."

Here`s hoping Sanchez has got it right or it could be a long road back.
