McBride Bows Out!

Fulham striker, Brian McBride, has taken the decision to retire from international football.

McBride, who has given both club and country loyal service over the years, retires with a glowing tribute from the US Soccer President, Sunil Gulati.

Gukati had this to say about McBride`s decision to retire from the international scene,

"I think it`s easy to say that his legacy will be that of a true iron man on the field and a true gentleman off it."

We here at Vital Fulham would like to second those comments and hope that McBride finishes the domestic season with a flourish.

I'd agree - what is it with Beattie? So good at Southampton but a different player at Everton!
