Diop Staying, Elrich Leaving!
With transfer speculation probably the only source of news during yet another break for internationals, it`s pleasing to hear that Papa Bouba Diop has confirmed his future lies with Fulham.
The tall Senagal star had been odds-on to leave Craven Cottage in the recent transfer window with Portsmouth and Wigan both enquiring about his services.
Rumours abound that a move to either of these clubs didn`t materialise due to financial issues.
Diop, it appeared, had fallen out of favour with Chris Coleman after a string of niggling injuries had restricted his availability for first team action.
The news will please all Craven Cottage regulars who view Diop as an integral part of the team.
However, whilst Diop looks certain to stay another looks just as certain to leave.
Ahmad Elrich, signed in the summer from Pusan Icons, failed to establish himself in Chris Coleman`s plans and after suffering a serious knee injury looks set to seek new pastures.
