Fulham to Move for Cudicini?

Fulham to Move for Cudicini?

Settling back into my comfortable seat on the train today I just couldn`t resist the urge to pick up a discarded copy of one of those free newspapers.

Nestling amongst the sports pages was a little snippet suggesting that Fulham are about to make a move for Chelsea`s out of favour keeper, Carlo Cudicini.

The Italian has been replaced as the number one keeper at Chelsea by Petr Cech and, according to the report, Fulham are keen to take him on a season long loan next year.

Unfortunately, it`s doubtful whether Cudicini would be prepared to come to Fulham. With Niemi looking to have fully recovered from his neck injury by then, there would be the distinct possibility that Cudicini would find himself in a similar situation to that he finds himself in now.

Therefore, we`ll file this particular story in the - needing something to fill a few column inches - file.
