Montella Milan Bound!

Montella Milan Bound!

Vincenzo Montella, on loan from Roma, looks poised to return to Italy at the end of the season.

The striker, who has been a revelation since his arrival from Serie A, looks like he is to be involved in a swap deal between Roma and AC Milan.

In the media today, it is being suggested that Montella will move to Milan with Pippo Inzaghi going to Roma.

Whilst the news will disappoint all Fulham fans who held faint hopes that Fulham could hang onto the thirty-two year old striker, the fact that the club were unable to, or unwilling to sustain, his £72,000 a week salary may well have been a defining element in the deal.

I guess we should be grateful for just having a fleeting glimpse of a world class striker in our side.

pity, it'd have been nice to see him stay with you guys. Fayed seems to have tightened the purse strings to th size of a gnat's sphincter. »»Arsene Knows««
