Coleman Praises Collins

In the aftermath of that FA Cup defeat, Chris Coleman has spoken out about the apparent desire Collins John has to move on.

The powerful striker came on as a substitute against Spurs for his first appearance since New Years Day and according to Coleman, didn`t let anyone down despite his rumoured desire to move on in the transfer window that has just closed.

"Any player who wants to play for Fulham and work hard has a big part to play regardless of what has happened."

"I`ve told Collins, that is what he wants to do so I haven`t got a problem."

"He came on and had a great chance, perhaps he caught it too well, and nevertheless he tried when he got on."

"I haven`t got a problem with anyone who wants to play for Fulham and wants to do the best for the club, even if there is a personal problem, although I don`t think there is."

"I didn`t see any signs of Collins coming on and sulking, he came on and tried and that`s all you can ask."

Hopefully, Collins will play a big part in securing our Premiership status in the weeks to come.

I used to like Collins John until he socred against us a couple of seasons ago :-)

I'd suggest that was one of his greatest moments in his Fulham career!
