Fulham`s Jokanovic is a Wanted Man

Fulham`s Jokanovic is a Wanted Man

The manner in which Slavisa Jokanovic has transformed Fulham Football Club means that it is very likely that the Cottagers will be in the promotion shake-up for a second consecutive season.

Hopes are high that, this time around, Fulham can finally regain their place in the top-tier of English football.

If, as we hope, that is the case, then Jokanovic will have guided a second team out of the Championship and into the Premier League, having achieved that feat with Watford, previously.

But, having achieved that feat with the Vicarage Road based club, Jokanovic wasn`t at the helm to guide the Hornets in that first season back.

Instead, his position was axed over a row about a new salary.

This time around, if Fulham do make a return to the top-flight, we`re pretty certain that there will not be a parting of the ways in similar circumstances.

However, according to the news source, The Mirror, there could be another inherent danger Fulham will have to be aware of.

Our source is reporting that Southampton, who are struggling in the Premier League, are set to change their manager come the end of the season.

Seemingly, two names are in the frame for the position, our own Slavisa Jokanovic and the FK Ostersunds boss, Graham Potter.

I`m sure my fellow Fulham fans will agree with me when I suggest that Potter would be the far more suitable candidate!
