Bolton 1 Fulham 1 - Views from the Bench

After five consecutive wins, in the Championship, it was hoped that Fulham could make it six on the bounce away to Bolton Wanderers.

However, the Cottagers had to be content with a draw as Bolton fought back from conceding an early goal to take a point.

Following the game, both managers spoke to the media.

Slavisa Jokanovic had this to say about the game and the result,

'You cannot be completely happy after a result like today. We came here with the mentality and desire to win the game but didn't do it.

'We tried and we pushed at the end. We are disappointed, but we must be strong adults and accept this situation.

'We have 15 finals in front of us and have to be ready for all these games.'

How many of those fifteen games will Fulham need to win to stay in the promotion shake-up?

As for the Bolton manager, Phil Parkinson, he had this to say to the media,

'I was disappointed with the way we started. We were a bit lacklustre and got punished.

'After that thought it was a very good performance, we grew into the game and I am pleased we went toe to toe with the in-form team in the league.

'Adam doesn't want to be known as just a good sub, but it is important if he is on the bench that he comes off and makes an impact like he did.'

Just our luck that Le fonder ended his goal drought with a goal against us!
