Fulham v Burton Albion - Early Team-News

A last-gasp win, courtesy of a penalty from Oliver Norwood, away to Middlesbrough, has given Fulham support the hope that their side can reach the Championship play-offs.

This Saturday, Fulham welcome Burton Albion to Craven Cottage for a Championship fixture.

Ahead of the game we`ve assembled some early team-news.

Starting with Fulham:

The club captain, Tom Cairney, who has been the subject of some transfer speculation linking him with a move to West Brom this week, is doubtful for the game. Cairney is still troubled by a knee injury that has seen him miss the last two games.

Hoping to make a return to first-team action, after being out of action since 2 January, is Floyd Ayite, the striker will have his calf injury assessed ahead of the game.

Continuing with Burton Albion:

Nigel Clough will be without the services of his midfielder Will Miller, the player picked up a knee injury against our West London rivals, QPR, and will miss the rest of the season.

One player Clough could call upon is Martin Samuelsen who has joined the club on loan from West Ham United.

As for a result, we`re favouring, as we should, Fulham, but we`re perfectly aware Burton are on a run of three consecutive victories on the road.
