Fulham 0 Bristol City 2 - Views from the Bench

With just one Championship win, at Craven Cottage, to savour this season, the home support are a little disappointed at how the 2017 / 2018 season is going.

Even more so when you consider Fulham made the Championship play-offs last season.

Following the 2-0 defeat, at home, at the hands of Bristol City, Slavisa Jokanovic spoke to the media.

This is what our head coach had to say,

'Bristol City played better football and at a different pace. I tried to change the shape (to 3-5-2) to try to find a clean sheet or be a little more solid at the back but it didn't work well.

'It's completely my responsibility. We looked confused in the first 45 minutes.

'In the second half we tried something different but after the sending off we lost any chance to come back.'

Glad to see the boss taking responsibility!

As for the opposition, it was their assistant coach, Jamie McAllister, who fronted up the press, remarking,

'It's a tough division and every game is difficult.

'Fulham are a very good side with great quality and some good players so this was another great win, and another clean sheet, our eighth of the season.

'Our pressing was excellent and we scored two great goals. Both were really good moves. We play with high energy and work together as a unit, with no passengers.

'We're in a good place at the moment with good spirit and have bounced back well after the home defeat by Leeds.'

Hopefully, Fulham can bounce back this coming weekend, otherwise this season will get bleaker and bleaker!
