The prime reason being that two Fulham youngsters, Ryan Sessegnon and Tayo Edun, have been featuring regularly for the side.

Having reached the final, in which they met Portugal, the England U19 side continued their magnificent run of form to win the trophy.

The youngsters took the lead courtesy of a goal from the Aston Villa youngster, Esash Suliman, but were soon level when just six minutes later a spectacular own goal from the Chelsea youngster, Dujon Sterling, gave Portugal hope of winning the competition.

Thankfully, the Manchester City youngster, Lukas Nmecha, was on hand to grab the winner, ensuring that the England U19 side won the tournament for the first time ever.
