Grimmer Joins Coventry

Grimmer Joins Coventry

Jack Grimmer joined Fulham Football Club in 2012.

At the end of the 2016 / 2017 season, Grimmer was allowed to leave Craven Cottage.

Despite being the youngest ever player for his hometown club, Aberdeen, Grimmer never really made the breakthrough at Fulham.

The former Scottish U21 international had loans spells at Port Vale and Shrewsbury before the decision was made to let him leave this summer.

However, Grimmer, now 23-years-of-age, hasn`t taken long in securing a contract at another club.

Grimmer has signed a two-year deal with the League Two side, Coventry City.

Managed by the former Manchester United striker, Mark Robins, this is what was said upon signing the player,

'I think it is a coup for us to sign Jack, and I look forward to working with him. He is a really good prospect and at 23 has even more development potential still.

'This is an exciting signing, as Jack has both strong defensive and attacking elements to his game.

'Jack is strong, powerful, quick and has a winning mentality - all of which are important qualities to have.'

Here at Vital Fulham we`d like to wish Jack Grimmer all the best at his new club.
