Sessegnon In Team Of The Week (14/3/17)

Sessegnon In Team Of The Week (14/3/17)

Fulham are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week's action.

The performance by Ryan Sessegnon in the three one victory over Newcastle United at the weekend at St James' Park was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we'll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Sessegnon was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice - the FL blurb read.

'Fulham's teenage sensation was the star of the show as Fulham defeated Newcastle United 3-1 and moved within two points of the Sky Bet Championship top six. The 16-year-old scored twice at St James' Park with two coolly taken finishes, making it seven unbeaten for the Cottagers.'

It's always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Sessegnon for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the points.

Full Team:

Jamal Blackman (Wycombe Wanderers), Luke Wilkinson (Stevenage), Aden Flint (Bristol City), John Brayford (Burton Albion), Filipe Morais (Bolton Wanderers), Ryan Sessegnon (Fulham), Josh Wright (Gillingham), Kal Naismith (Portsmouth), Medy Elito (Cambridge United), JJ Hooper (Port Vale), Tom Barkhuizen (Preston North End).

Manager - Mike Flynn (Newport County).
