Fulham Ready to Shock Spurs

After two consecutive 3-2 wins, at Craven Cottage, both in the Championship, we`re eagerly awaiting the visit of Spurs for an FA Cup 5th round tie this Sunday.

Wins in the previous two rounds, against Cardiff City (a) and Hull City (h) have enabled Fulham to go on what could develop into a very interesting FA Cup run.

Although promotion, hopefully via the Championship play-offs, remains the priority nothing can match the feeling of a Wembley Cup Final approaching, it seems an age since we were last there!

On Sunday, Fulham will take heart from the fact that they convincingly beat another Premier League side, Hull City, in the 4th round.

Our opponents, Tottenham Hotspur, will arrive in our neck of the woods smarting from two successive defeats, losing at Liverpool in the Premier League and away to Genk in a Europa League game last night.

Their manager, Mauricio Pochettini, selected strong starting elevens for both games and may, with hopes of chasing the Premier League title very much on his agenda, decide to make numerous changes for the trip to Craven Cottage.

On Sunday much will depend on how Fulham start, a good start is essential and if any chances come our way we daren`t be wasteful, but I`ve just got that nagging feeling that everything is going to come together, that the players will rise to the occasion and Fulham will knock Spurs out and reach the last eight of the FA Cup.
