'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham: Cap'n Brown.

So its Cap'n Brown.

Michael Brown has been appointed Fulham's club captain following Luis Boa Morte's departure to West Ham.

The midfielder's first outing as full-time skipper will be Saturday afternoon's FA Cup third round tie at Leicester.

'Michael Brown is an infectious player who's led by example this season through his performances on the pitch,' manager Chris Coleman told Fulham's official website, www.fulhamfc.co.uk.

'He's been there for us all season and has possibly been one of the club's most consistent players.

'Since he joined Fulham, he's been terrific and performed brilliantly in midfield in the absence of a number of injured players - he was the obvious choice to take over as club captain.'

Ed's comment....who else is there?..

Good choice by Coleman, Brown will make a good captain.

I would have chosen McBride as captain, but I guess that Brown would be a good choice to.

That is not a very good choice by Coleman, Brown won't make a very good captain. I agree with Fulhamtom, it should have been McBride.

It's a good choice, he rules the midfield when fit and has an excellent engine!

He always gives 110%, I don't see why you don't think that he would make a very good captain.
