Fulham: Jimmy still unsure!

Fulham midfielder Jimmy Bullard says he is still not sure when he can return to 1st team football.

The former Wigan man had made a scintillating start to his career at Craven Cottage but suffered a horrific injury against Newcastle in October.

Bullard has since twice been operated on by renowned surgeon Dr Richard Steadman, the top knee specialist in the world, who admits the injury is one of the worst he has ever seen.

'It has all gone well, as good as it could have really. But they have not given me a date for when I am back,' Bullard told Sky Sports News. 'I have just got to take each day as it comes and see how it goes from there.

'It is quite a bad injury. From the start he (Dr Steadman) mapped it out and said it would need at least two operations.

'We have had them and it is good, it is where he wanted it to be at this stage.'

His injury has left a void in midfield. And as we are suffering with injuries at the moment we havn't got a replacement for him, we will have to buy someone in the January Transfer window (Vayarnen???!!?!).
