Fulham: Boa Morte almost there!

Fulham: Boa Morte almost there!

The 29-year-old has made two consecutive appearances for the Cottagers against Wigan and Everton after being ruled out from the middle of September after sustaining the injury during a clash of heads with team-mate Heidar Helguson in a draw at Tottenham.

The injury had been so severe the Portuguese winger had been unable to wear a mask and he was forced to watch from the sidelines with the likes of Jimmy Bullard.

Now, however, Boa Morte predicts he is nearing full fitness telling the club's official website: 'I'm not as fit as I would like to be but I am getting there.

'I was training one on one during the five weeks I was out and that is not the same as training with the rest of the team.

'I'm not going to be 100% match fit but I've been training with the team for two weeks so I expect the fitness to come over the next few weeks.'

We hope so......

Good Luck. All decent clubs should have their best players plying their trade.

yes I agree, we have not got the luxury of being able to afford the likes of Boa Morte sitting out games!

We have had a few bad injuries that have shocked us this season Bullard and Boa Morte mainly, but we are starting to get some of our injured players back now. So in the next few games, we will have a practicaly full squad to chose from.
