This article has just been posted on the Everton FC official site.
'Everton have moved quickly to condemn the actions of the supporter responsible for throwing a missile at Fulham's Claus Jensen during Saturday's Premiership encounter at Craven Cottage.
The incident took place during the second half of Everton's 1-0 defeat to Chris Coleman's men.
It was captured by TV cameras, with replays showing the missile thrown from the end occupied by Everton's travelling fans struck the Fulham goalscorer on the head.
Ian Ross, Everton's Head of PR and External Affairs, said: 'As a Club we condemn without hesitation the actions of the moronic individual who threw a coin at Claus Jensen.
'We would urge anyone who knows his or her identity to contact the Police immediately. We will be studying video recordings of the incident to see if we can firstly isolate and then identify the so-called supporter involved.
'If the person responsible for what was a disgraceful - and potentially very dangerous - assault is a supporter of Everton Football Club and is convicted of a criminal offence, the matter will go before our Board of Directors who have the power to issue a life-ban from Goodison Park.'
A life ban from Goodison Park? A life ban from all European football grounds more like!
Its a shame that the Everton manager did not think it necessary to mention the incident post match!
