Everton condemn coin thrower!

Everton condemn coin thrower!

This article has just been posted on the Everton FC official site.

'Everton have moved quickly to condemn the actions of the supporter responsible for throwing a missile at Fulham's Claus Jensen during Saturday's Premiership encounter at Craven Cottage.

The incident took place during the second half of Everton's 1-0 defeat to Chris Coleman's men.

It was captured by TV cameras, with replays showing the missile thrown from the end occupied by Everton's travelling fans struck the Fulham goalscorer on the head.

Ian Ross, Everton's Head of PR and External Affairs, said: 'As a Club we condemn without hesitation the actions of the moronic individual who threw a coin at Claus Jensen.

'We would urge anyone who knows his or her identity to contact the Police immediately. We will be studying video recordings of the incident to see if we can firstly isolate and then identify the so-called supporter involved.

'If the person responsible for what was a disgraceful - and potentially very dangerous - assault is a supporter of Everton Football Club and is convicted of a criminal offence, the matter will go before our Board of Directors who have the power to issue a life-ban from Goodison Park.'

A life ban from Goodison Park? A life ban from all European football grounds more like!
Its a shame that the Everton manager did not think it necessary to mention the incident post match!

Quite right!! This has got to be dealt with and the pathetic idiot locked up and given a life ban from anything to do with football, but if the English justice system is true to form he will be sent on holiday and given a 1000 quid to spend!

Scum like that should be publicaly shot. It ruins the game, when nutters loike him think that they can get away with chucking stuff at the other teams players, it makes me sick.

Scum, subhuman scum! Why do that? You wouldn't do that in everyday life (well some would!) so why do it on a Saturday at football. Name and shame and keep him or her and ban for life.

That guy should be banned from watching football matches, and then be publicly stoned, hanged and then dumped into the Red sea. Only complete arsehol$s would want to chuck stuff at people, so it is no less then he deserves.

they should name and shame.. the person should not be allowed into any public arena again, football or otherwise... we have got rid of this over the last few years.. we do not need this coming back into the game in any way....
