Fulham Sell Dejagah
With the Bob Marley tune Exodus playing through the speakers, it is kind of ironic that we`re biding farewell to another of our squad from last season.
I`m of the opinion that it`d take me a month of Sunday`s to list the names of those that have left since the death knell sounded in relation to our Premier League status.
In fact I`m simply going to wait until a list appears in a tabloid before the season starts to swoon over just how things might have changed.
However, another name was added to that list yesterday when it was announced that, as many predicted, Ashkan Dejajgah, had been sold, for an undisclosed fee, to the Qatar side, Al-Arabi.
Compared to some, the Iranian`s career at Craven Cottage was somewhat fleeting with Dejagah racking up 44 appearances and scoring a mere 6 goals.
Discussing why the 28 year-old was sold, Felix Magath is quoted, in the media, as having remarked,
"Having spoken with Ashkan we decided in the best interest of both Fulham and himself, that he would leave the club."
"We wish him very much luck for the future at Al-Arabi."
And so do we, but once again we`d ask that the last to leave please turn the lights off!
