Reports have filtered through that Besiktas have recruited the Chelsea striker Demba Ba and are now highly unlikely to pursue their reported interest in taking Mitroglou off of our hands.

One can only assume that Besiktas looked at the goals scored by each striker (or not scored in Mitroglou`s case) before making a final decision!
