Richardson Pens Two-Year Deal at Villa Park

Richardson Pens Two-Year Deal at Villa Park

As we predicted yesterday, Kieran Richardson has completed his move to Aston Villa.

With Fulham Football Club dismantling the squad that got us relegated from the Premier League, Richardson has joined Aston Villa on a two year deal.

Richardson, now 29 years of age is naturally delighted at having retained his status as a Premier League player and has spoken about joining the Midlands club, a place where he spent time as a youngster, remarking,

"The last time I was here I was 14 years old and the place has changed a lot but I`m delighted to be here now."

"Villa Park is my favourite stadium in the Premier League."

"It`s got a great atmosphere and I`m looking forward to playing here. I know I`m going to love it."

Richardson joins another who leapt off our sinking ship, Philippe Senderos, and here at Vita Fulham we wish Kieran all the best in the latest stage of his career, but spare a thought for us poor souls Kieran who have facing life in the Championship, it`s not something we`re looking forward to.

Hey, so us Villans haven't had a decent left back for years now. How do you rate Richardson?
