Dejagah Exits World Cup!

Dejagah Exits World Cup!

Ashkan Dejagah had hoped that his Iranian side could pull of a shock and get the victory needed against Bosnia Herzegovina that would put Iran into the last sixteen.

Unfortunately it was not to be.

The side that had pushed Argentina all the way, eventually succumbing to an injury time winner from Lionel Messi, were soundly beaten by Bosnia Herzegovina.

Iran lost 3-1 and like several of the more fancied sides (England, Spain and Italy) are now heading for home.

However, unlike the three sides mentioned Iran can return home with their heads held high after surprising viewers with their pluck efforts.

It remains to be seen though whether Dejagah remains a Fulham player for the coming season
