'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Protecting Our Future

Now we`re in the Championship, following our relegation, it looks increasingly like Felix Magath will look to the future and play the youngsters.

One such youngster, a player who has made quite an impact in England`s recent U17 European Championships victory is Patrick Roberts.

Roberts success has seen, reportedly, Manchester United show some interest who have also followed his progress through the youth system at Fulham.

Therefore, with United showing such interest, it`s pleasing to read that Fulham Football Club have put a 15 million price tag on the teenager who penned a two and a half year contract in February.

Nice as it is I don't think it will be enough to keep him with us :(

I disagree. With the new financial fair play rules, I don't see Utd spending 15 million on a 17 year old when they need a complete squad upheaval.
