Having a Ball in Milan

Having a Ball in Milan

Cast adrift by Fulham, as the January transfer window slammed shut, Adel Taarabt has started his career at AC Milan well.

Taarabt, playing against Napoli last night, took a mere seven minutes to make his mark netting a goal which many are already describing as a contender for goal of the season.

The Moroccan picked the ball up in his own half and then went on a run of some forty yards before bending a marvellous shot past Pepe Reina in the Napoli goal.

Unfortunately for Taarabt and his new team-mates, the joy wasn`t to last as Napoli stormed back to win 3-1 and Taarabt picked up a yellow card.

An interesting start to life in Serie A though!
