Young Keeper Arrives on Loan

It would appear that Fulham are looking at a young keeper.

Although we appear well blessed with keepers, in the shape of Stekelenburg, Stockdale and Etheridge, it hasn`t stopped Fulham inviting the teenage Port Vale keeper Ryan Boot to join us on loan.

Boot joined Port Vale from Stoke City and has yet to make a first team appearance, but is highly rated.

Talking about his young keeper, the Port Vale assistant gaffer, Mark Grew, is quoted as having remarked,

'Fulham were looking for a keeper for their Under-19s and have invited Ryan down for the week as an experience, and then we will see what develops."

We certainly will!
