We deserved something, Fulham poll

Fulham fans thought (in our poll) that we should have come away with something at the weekend when we played Chelsea.

64% of Fulham fans thought that we deserved something from the game.

22% of Chelsea fans thought that we did'nt!

14% of Fulham and Chelsea fans thought that 'maybe' we should have come away with something.

Considering we have an injury ravished squad and Chelsea were only without John Terry (and only had a multi million pound player to replace him!) Fulham gave a good account of themselves and should be buoyed by the performance.

Our next poll asks.......

How will we do against Watford?.

Win.

Draw.

lose.

not sure.

Good result for this poll and a true reflection of Fulham fans thoughts.

Laughable. Why not have a poll entitled "Should the Zulus have won at Rorke's drift?" Or, Should Davy Crockett have won the Battle of the Alamo?" As for Terry being the only injured Chelsea player, how about Joe Cole and Boulahrouz, plus the suspended Ballack? It shows the (deeper) depths to which Fulham have sunk when the only thing they can win is a poll, after a game has already been lost.
Sir Cecil
before harking on about how low low Fulham have sunk have a look at your own sorry pathetic team/manager/owner, what have you numpties really achieved with all the money spent and your 'fine' players and bench warmers, you have a club that is not run as a business but as a tax loss toy. You buy players just to stop other clubs from having them and then let them rot in the reserves, you are under so many investigations for alledgedely tapping up and back hand payments, bungs etc. When Terry was mentioned it was because Terry would be the only worthy player of a mention, read the article again you muppet and try to understand it.

Its a shame that other clubs fans don't look at their own clubs before starting on ours....bored I suppose!

I see that a Chelsea site has named Lampard man of the match, obviously the 'Chelsea supporters' that voted did not go to or see the match, Lampard was anonymous for the majority of the match!!!

Just read this in an article about our neighbours........................... .....A survey has confirmed that Chelsea has the poorest image among the public out of the top four clubs in....England....Independent consumer research commissioned by PRWeek magazine showed that despite the efforts of Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon to raise the club's image, the champions remain the least liked club out of the Premiership's top four....Liverpool is the club held in highest regard by fans, with the Reds gaining a score of 3.23 out of five in comparison to Chelsea's 2.82 out of five...The research was conducted by Opinion Matters, who surveyed 1089 people in the month of September, and the full report is published in this week's edition of PRWeek....Other findings were that 76% of people believe that Chelsea has bought rather than earned success, while 53% see the club as beyond the control of the Football Association....Nearly a third (31%) of fans believe that the club's reputation has worsened since Roman Abramovich's takeover in 2003, but even more worrying for the club is the fact that this figure rises to 36% among Chelsea fans...59% of participants believe that Roman Abramovich has not been a positive force for English football in general...Danny Rogers, editor of PRWeek, said of the survey results: "This survey is a clear indication that the general public is concerned about the club's behaviour, attitudes and the way it conducts business...."Roman Abramovich needs to be aware that at present his club is not helping the perception of club football in general. Chelsea needs to appear less arrogant and work to promote greater transparency and clarity in its communications."..Interestingly enough, 70% of respondents believe the recent allegations including bungs to agents have damaged football at a grass roots level.

Every team, after every game deserves something. There is always a chance that some one should have put away, and it could have changed the outcome of the game.
