Frank Lampard grabbed both goals for Chelsea as they won the west London derby against an injury stricken Fulham.

The Chelsea midfielder, who had been enduring a torrid time of late, Put Chelsea in front via a penalty on 73 minutes after Liam Rosenior handled Salomon Kalou's cross.

Lampard ensured victory for Jose Mourinho's side when he put away his second with 10 minutes left to play.

Fulham, unrecogniseable due to injuries in midfield, should have taken the lead in the second half but an unmarked Papa Bouba Diop headed wide from close range.

Again Routledge played well and had a couple of chances to put Fulham ahead.

Chelsea who were beaten 1-0 at Craven Cottage in the same fixture last season, hit the bar in either half through Arjen Robben and Didier Drogba.

The visitors were without John Terry who missed the keenly-contested derby with a back injury suffered in training on Friday and is now rated a big doubt for the Chelsea's Champions League clash with Levski Sofia on Wednesday.

Again the injuries to Fulham's key squad members has made for a disappointing result although the players that did play, did well to hold off Chelsea for most of the game.

I would say that if it were anyone else but Chelsea we may have come away with something from the game.

Well played lads.

A good game and not letting Chelsea have it all their own way was good to see.

All of those players that Chelsea have got, and both of the goals were scored by a mediocre/crappy player.
