'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulhams boa Morte injury update.

Fulhams Luis Boa Morte has fractured his cheekbone and could be out for 3/6 weeks.

He injured his cheekbone whilst clearing a ball off the line and clashing with his team mate Heider Helguson.

'We think Luis has cracked his cheekbone,' said Coleman.

'There is a dent in his cheek and it has to be pushed back out so it could be three weeks or it could be six. He may have to play with a mask.'

'He went for the ball with Helguson, but if they both hadn't gone for it, it would have been a goal.'

'But again, we have paid the price for it. So there are plusses and minuses.'

Spurs created most of the chances in a hard fought game but Fulham should be applauded for their hearty defending.

He added: 'I am delighted with the performance of the players, but more so with their attitude.

'We came with a gameplan and played two defenders in midfield. We wanted to come and make it hard for Tottenham.

'They are a good team with a lot of imagination. We wanted to stop them as much as we could from playing and frustrate them.

'The performance was particularly pleasing for myself because we showed great work ethic. All credit to the players.'

And the list goes on, the squad is not big enough to cope with many more injuries,

However this was a good game to come away with a point.

Well done the lads, this was a hard fought but well deserved point.

Lets hope that this is more like 3 weeks than 6.

First Jimmy Bullard, now Luis Boa Morte. Have you the strength in depth to cope over the coming weeks?
