Tottenham 0 Fulham 0
TOTTENHAM again failed to score as they continued to misfire in this afternoons game against Fulham at White hart Lane.
Martin Jol's Spurs have now scored only 2 goals and had only one win in five in the premiership this season which is their worst start in 11 years.
Spur's like Fulham have been hampered with injuries in the opening games, its just that Fulham have coped and Tottenham have not.
Danny Murphy made a rare start for Tottenham this afternoon.
Fulham passed the ball around very well in the early part of the match and looked very confident, with Collins John coming close early on, after pinching the ball from Zokora in Fulhams half and running within 20 yards of Tottenhams goal he let fly with a 20 yarder forcing Robinson in to a well taken save.
With Robbie keane and Teemu Tanio going close for Spurs and the final touch letting them down it was still anyones game.
However this gave the home side confidence and they continued to push hard.
For Fulham Zat Knight and Ian Pearce coped with anything that Spurs threw at them without too many problems.
Just before the break, Tottenham almost broke the deadlock when Liam Rosenior failed to deal with a cross from Jenas and Benoit Assou-Ekotto brought a fine save from Fulham stopper Niemi.
Fulham, with just one loss from their first four matches of the premiership season played with much more authority after the break and Moritz Volz sent an 18-yard shot wide of the target in the 47th minute.
All in all this is a much better result for Fulham than it is for Tottenham.
An excellent hard fought game for Fulham who did not allow Tottenham to boss the game at WHL, the players and Management should be proud....Tottenham should be extremely worried.
