Keeping What We Have!

Whilst most supporters are keenly watching how Fulham fare in the Premier League, there are still some delicate negotiations going on behind the scenes.

Having lost Clint Dempsey and Moussa Dembele, in the transfer window last summer, Martin Jol is acutely aware that several of the current first team squad are at the end of their contracts very shortly.

Although Damien Duff has put pen-to-paper on a new deal, that still leaves the likes of Mark Schwarzer, Brede Hangeland, Giorgos Karagounis and Phillipe Senderos to convince that their futures lie at Craven Cottage.

Martin Jol, talking about the situation in the local press, is quoted as having remarked,

"There's a lot of players finishing their contracts and we are talking to most of them.'

It remains to be seen who stays and who chooses to try their luck elsewhere.

Schwarzer, Hangeland & Karagounis yes, not so sure about Senderos I think we should look for someone better to be honest, still think we look stronger at the back with Hughes & Hangeland

agreed... i don't think fulham needs senderos, i think fulham needs hangeland, i think fulham'll keep schwarzer, even though they could replace him with stockdale, and if fulham can get karagounis on a one year deal, i think that'll make sense...
