Two Key Incidents!

Two Key Incidents!

Watching the action today, two central figures took prominent roles.

Dimitar Berbatov scored a sensational winner whilst Mark Schwarzer produced penalty save to help us towards the three points.

Following the match, both Berbatov and Schwarzer had things to say about the two vital incidents in the game.

First up Dimitar on his goal,

'It's all about the practice. I practise in training and score against Mark [Schwarzer] all the time. You just need to do something special and you do it. It is a good one but I have better ones.'

And then Schwarzer on that save,

"We looked at a bit of video footage before the game and I was relatively confident where it was going to go. We needed the points today. You know what you're going to get against Stoke and it was a great win for us.'

Definitely a case of preparation providing optimum performance.
