Michael Brown's view 'Spurs game'

Michael Brown's view 'Spurs game'

Our battling midfielder gives his views on returning to his old club Tottenham Hotspur since joining Fulham in the January transfer window.

Following Saturday`s victory at St. James` Park, Brown is confident that Fulham can continue this with a win over Spurs on Sunday.

"We dug in hard, it wasn`t the prettiest of games but we did our job perfectly,' he said. 'We waited for our chances and stayed solid. Hopefully we will continue our winning form at Tottenham."

With Fulham having had only I 'blip' so far this season losing 5-1 to Man U

Michael added

"Not many teams go to Old Trafford and get much on their good days! We`ve got the away win in our second game away from home and that will take the pressure off a bit and we can concentrate on winning a few more. Now we have to believe and play like we do at Craven Cottage away from home.

"They`re all hard games in the Premier League but we`ve got a tough run of games following the recent international break and it was good to get off the mark with three points at St. James` Park."

Fulhams last game against Tottenham saw us coming away with a win and it was Carlos Bocanegra`s last minute header which earned the three points for Fulham that night and Brown is looking forward to facing his former team mates on Sunday.

"I haven`t been back to Tottenham since I left. I had two fantastic years at Spurs and they`ve got some great players. I`m really enjoying my time at Fulham - last season was a bit disappointing for me but I`ve started okay this season and I`m looking forward to the game on Sunday."

Easy chaps! He said he loved his time at Spurs, that makes him alright in my book. I know he wasn't good enough but he worked his ********* off for us in every game (and he did Viera a treat in a NLD a couple of years ago). I've got time for Browny but we're still gonna stuff his team on sunday!

Anyone but a Spurs supporter can see that I meant to say 'against' instead of at, but then it has given the fickle Tottenham fans something to whinge about....lol

Yes there are some dreadful fickle Spurs fans as there are in all clubs, but fickle does go hand in hand with Spurs fans (and I am a true Spurs fan) but I am old enough to be able to say it because I have seen it all. However fickle fans aside Tottenham are on the up and they will be the force that they once were. They won last night in the Eufa cup but Slavia Prague were woeful and made Tottenham look good so diificult game to call against you guys. Draw 1-1. I say!!
