Riether on Fighting Spirit!

Riether on Fighting Spirit!

Once again, our on loan full back, Sacsha Riether, showed just how classy an operator is and it will be a shame if we have to lose him at the end of the season.

Riether, talking to the media after the 1-0 defeat to Manchester United, had this to say about the game,

"We had a great performance and we deserved a point. But at least we saw a team on the pitch - and that`s important."

"The fans saw there were 11 players who fought and who wanted to win against the best team in the league."

"We understand that the fans were not happy earlier, because we had not been fighting to the end."

"But in the last two games, there has been a change. There was a team with fighting spirit."

There was and, at the death, we almost got a point except for a late off-the-line clearance by Robin Van Persie.

I thought we had an option to buy at the end of the load period, if we do we should use it he's a good right back and has fitted in well
