'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Will Lightning Strike Twice?

Up at Old Trafford, on Saturday, I feared for our side after that early penalty from Ryan Giggs.

Old Trafford was rocking and United were playing us off the park. Thankfully, Lady Luck must have felt a little guilty and the 4-1 score probably wasn`t reflective of United`s superiority, something Martin Jol commented on in his post match interview, remarking,

"We looked a bit open and it could have been one of those days when they scored six or seven. We lacked conviction and confidence and a bit of energy."

I guess those are fair enough comments and Jol has time to address them before we play two successive home games, the first against West Ham this Wednesday and then the second against, of all teams, Manchester United!
