Hangeland`s Goal?

Hangeland`s Goal?

We`re not sure if the goal that won us our FA Cup 3rd round replay, against Blackpool, will finally end up being credited to Brede Hangeland.

His header, from a Damien Duff corner, took a wicked deflection and the dubious goals panel may well annotate it as an own goal.

If that is the case, we`d like the reference panel to take into consideration that the goal last night was Brede`s first in 611 days, since he scored a brace against Birmingham in May 2011.

Surely that`s good enough reason to credit the Norwegian centre-back with the winner last night!
