Jol`s Dilemma?

We face a tricky FA Cup 3rd round replay on Tuesday evening when we face a long trip, quite probably in arctic conditions, to face Blackpool.

With the first leg having been drawn 1-1, courtesy of a wonderful goal from Karagounis, Jol will be looking towards this trip to get his side back to winning ways.

However, having already inferred that he views the FA Cup as a trophy he`d like to win, Jol is mindful that he cannot afford to let our Premier League campaign stall any more.

A series of poor results has left us looking more like relegation candidates than mid-table contenders. Therefore, with our squad stretched, Jol is tempted to rest a few of those who have been looking tired in recent games, but there lies a dilemma, or as Jol puts it,

'I try to play the best team all the time and I feel we need to change the team for Blackpool to give players like (Dimitar) Berbatov, who have played all the matches, a rest."

'But I have to make a decision on that because I still feel, under the circumstances, it is very important to stay in the FA Cup. It is always nice to have an extra opportunity to stay in this wonderful competition.'

What`s the verdict?

Should Jol concentrate on the FA Cup or should he rest a few players wary of our Premier League situation?
