In For Bent

In For Bent

Tabloid speculation carries the insinuation that Darren Bent could be leaving Villa Park this January.

Seemingly out-of-favour with Paul Lambert, the 28 year old former England international is said to be available for £8 million with good old Fulham, apparently leading the race.

The only possible snag if a deal is to be constructed could, the tabloids suggest, be his current salary of, a rumoured £65,000 a week, but that could be negotiable in return for a kick-start to his career.

I have to say Bent and Berbatov up front is a mouth-watering idea, but what are your views?

half the price and maybe but i want to see a big name midfield coming in because we have strikers but no one to feed them the ball so the focus must be this, get out there jol and spend the 20 odd million we got for dembele and dempsey on a midfielder! simple
