Bouazza Beaten Up!

Now isn`t that strange?

On the long walk home last night, from work, I was running through my mind the names of some players that had played for Fulham but had, in my mind, disappeared off the radar.

One of the many names I stumbled across was that of Hameur Bouazza.

And then blow me, I turn the pages of one tabloid this morning and there it is, news of his whereabouts.

But for Hameur it isn`t good news!

It appears that the Algerian winger, who never really got the rub of the green at Craven Cottage has been beaten up by fans of his own club.

Bouazza, now twenty-seven years of age ,is playing for Racing Santander, in Spain, and he has described the incident as such,

"It was an ambush."

"The fans are unhappy as we have not stopped losing recently."

"They think we are going to be relegated once again. But we have time to escape."

Blimey, that sort of thing doesn`t happen in our neck of the words does it!
