Stockdale`s Chance

Stockdale`s Chance

Down in the Championship, David Stockdale has begun life on loan at the KC Stadium, with Hull City.

On Saturday, Hull were beaten, 1-0, by a Burnley side that are flying.

Stockdale appears to be enjoying life near the Humber and has spoken to reporters, remarking,

"It`s a terrific opportunity for me."

"I have been struggling to get games in the Premier League because we have been doing well at Fulham."

"They want me to stay and hopefully, take Mark`s gloves when he has finished."

"If I do well here, you never know what could happen in the future."

The question we have to ask relates to that last line - will David be prepared to wait for Mark to hang those gloves up or will his ability alert other clubs?
