If the tabloid press is correct, Martin Jol is in serious danger of losing one of his coaching staff.

Reports are rife that Blackburn Rovers, having failed to lure Tim Sherwood to Ewood Park, are casting envious eyes towards Craven Cottage with a view to luring our respected coach Billy McKinlay to Lancashire.

McKinlay, now forty-three years of age, may have a low profile but his work with Fulham and with Northern Ireland, has ensured his reputation is growing.

Will Blackburn get their man?

I hope not!
