World Cup Watch!

World Cup qualification tonight and there are two matches that, as Fulham supporters catch our eye.

The first, involving Norway, (a team we`re keeping close tabs on) in Group E, have what appears, on paper, to be a comfortable looking tie away in Cyprus. With an 18:00 hours kick-off, we`re hoping that Brede Hangeland and John Arne Riise can both put in decent performances, help Norway to a much needed win and then return safely to Craven Cottage.

The second, involving Northern Ireland, sees Aaron Hughes and Chris Baird pitted against difficult opposition when, in a Group F fixture, they travel to Portugal. Being brutally honest, I reckon it`ll be a tough night for our duo and even returning with a point would be a remarkable result.
