United After Hangeland?

Having already lost Clint Dempsey and Moussa Dembele to the bigger-boys, are we in danger of losing another of our stalwarts?

One Sunday paper takes great delight in inferring that Manchester United may be eyeing up a move for Brede Hangeland to cover for their ongoing central defender crisis once the January transfer window opens.

Would Brede be tempted by a move to Old Trafford?

I`m honest enough to admit that if the deal was right a deal would probably be done!

How about you?

You have to wonder why we keep letting out best players run down their contracts to the last year which puts as at a huge disadvantage when it comes to renegotiate them, if Brede doesn’t want to sign a new deal why wasn’t he sold in the summer and a replacement got in, now we will probably lose him in January for next to nothing and then be left panic buying so that we have a replacement for him or watch him walk away on a free in the summer. At least if we hold on to him until the summer we will have time to get a decent replacement in.
