Dembele`s Gone!

Is it better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all?

A question that many may have pondered over at one time or another in their lives!

But, as we suspected yesterday, Moussa Dembele`s Fulham career was approaching an inevitable conclusion once one of the so-called big-boys decided to wave around a cheque fat enough to satisfy our demands.

Once Spurs had off-loaded Luka ModrIc and decided that Dembele was their wanted replacement we were always swimming against the tide and when the news broke yesterday that Dembele had passed a medical and agreed a salary, we knew the dirty deed was done.

Naturally, upon putting pen-to-paper, Dembele was enthusing about his move to North London, remarking to those latching on to every word,

"I`m happy to join Spurs, it is a fantastic club."

"You can see over the last few years they have played well. Everybody knows it`s a good team and a good club and that`s why I wanted to come here."

"They have plans to do lots of good things and I want to be part of it."

Personally, I`d like to thank Moussa for his contribution to Fulham Football Club and wish him well on his new venture and with regards to that opening line, I reckon it`s a case of better to have loved and lost………how about you?

Dembele holds the ball as well as anyone in the league and he was key to us being able to transition from defense into attack. I hope Bryan Ruiz is ready to start maintaining possession and feeding our two new strikers.

3 new strikers, that is. We have options now in attack. Who'd have thought?

lets not forget that it was hughes that brought him as a striker but jol was the one we should all credit with mousa's development in midfield. If it was not for jol ability to see the potential in dembele, hewould not be where he is now. Good luck to the fella and thanks for the 15 mil
