Rhodes Interest Evalued

I`m starting to get convinced that any reported interest in the prolific Huddersfield striker, Jordan Rhodes, was all press speculation.

I`m even starting to believe that the press speculation could even have been a ploy to drive up the price Huddersfield want for the Scottish international.

Today, it`s being inferred that Rhodes, despite stories appearing last week that the deal was dead, may well be heading towards Ewood Park with Blackburn Rovers coughing up £6 million for the striker who netted 40 times last season, with £4 million payable up front and £2 million at a later date.

It`s a shame really because I still believe that Rhodes could have been a hit at Craven Cottage, but I guess we`ll never know now!

If 6 mill is the price I dont see why Jol does not make an offer for this guy really?

You're kind of missing the point - Huddersfield don't want to sell him and he's not said he wants to go. None of this is coming from the club or his agent.
