Sunderland Interested?
We firmly believe that the future of Clint Dempsey will result in the want-away American being sold.
Now whilst the indications are that Liverpool expressed an interest in signing Clint, it looks as if that interest has cooled, possibly over the fee, or that Brendan Rodgers has had second thoughts.
But today, rumours of interest from Sunderland have come to the forefront.
It transpires that Martin O`Neill has decided that Dempsey would improve his squad and that the Irishman is hoping to open talks this week about a possible deal.
Personally, if Clint is to leave us I`d hope it`d be for a higher profile club than Sunderland!

To be honest I don’t care where he goes so long as he goes and the sooner the better, I’m sure Sunderland will help him realise his reams of playing Championship football ;)
