The Sunday tabloid press have thrown up an interesting possibility.
The insistence is there that Fulham are weighing up a move for the experienced Sunderland player Kieran Richardson.
Richardson is a versatile wing-back (their words not mine) who is on offer for around £2 million.
We also understand that a fee of £2 million could be sufficient to swing a deal for a player who has expressed a desire to return to London.
