Left in limbo
Clint Dempsey seems set on a move to Liverpool, Fulham would want him to stay but with Liverpool believed to be "having second thoughts" the American is being left in limbo.
Dempsey stayed behind when Fulham set off for their training camp in Switzerland having made it clear he wanted the Anfield move but this hasn't happened yet and "sources" are saying that Liverpool are having a rethink about making a move for him so he has been left in this slight limbo and has had to train on his own.
The US international would be welcomed back into the fold at Craven Cottage but he needs to prove a commitment to the club if this is to happen.
