Hangeland Welcomes New Strikers
Our towering centre back, Brede Hangeland, has provided the tabloid press with some encouraging words with regards to the two strikers Martin Jol has recently signed.
With Zamora, Johnson and Pogrebnyak gone and with Dempsey likely to follow, Jol has recruited Hugo Rodallega and Mladen Petric, from Wigan and Hamburg respectively, prompting Hangeland to remark,
"We`re happy to have them both here. They are good players with a good track record."
"I remember Mladen as a good player - I`ve played against him when he represented Croatia."
"He`s a talented player who knows how to find the back of the net. So he will be a good signing for us."
