Fulham in Keeper Shock!

Fulham in Keeper Shock!

The Daily Mail carries a strange article this morning.

It carries the possibility of Fulham making a move to sign the Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper, Paul Robinson

Earlier this week, the insinuation from the press was that Robinson would be moving to Turkish football, but that deal appears to have collapsed.

So why do I consider the reference article strange?

Well, Mark Schwarzer has long been confirmed as our number one and we have a more than capable deputy in David Stockdale.

So I`m pondering if there is something going on behind the scenes that we`re not party to.

Could Stockdale be looking to move on to secure regular first team football?

Are the plans to bring in Robinson throwing doubt on the long term future of Schwarzer?

Like I said; a strange article!

I'd rather have Stockdale as #1 than Robinson if there is something going on with Schwarzer,

Robinson is still a good keeper and a lot younger than Schwarzer. Don't know what's going on with Stockdale, and no disrespect to Schwarzer (who's been great for us), but I don't think it's a bad move.
