Bentley Broke!

Earlier this week we reported on an apparent interest in bringing David Bentley to Craven Cottage.

Well it appears our quest might be about to fail with it now being reported that Queens Park Rangers are hot on the case and could be on the verge of persuading Bentley to go to Loftus Road for a season.

It appears that Rangers hold the trump card with Mark Hughes having had Bentley under his guidance when both were at Blackburn Rovers.

Don't be so sure... QPR want him on loan... we want him off our books, not just on loan for a year then back when his contract expires and out on a free. If Fulham are prepared to pay, then I'd say hard cash beats a loan hands down, Sparky or no Sparky.
Cape Town Spurs
Jol has been his manager aswell...also Fulham's premier league status not assured but i think far more likely than QPR's
norwichspur
Jol was never Bentley's manager. He was signed by Ramos in 2008 and Jol left in 2007!!

Daniel Levy is a bean counter, and he will take the cash and not a loan.. he will want some money back, of fee and wages costs... then use towards funding new manager signings, IMO.

Hope he goes to QPR. Read www.premierleagueowl.com on the subject.
